What is a penguin?

You mean to tell me that you don’t know what a penguin is?  Well… a penguin is a flightless bird that lives in the antartic region.  They stereotypically have black and white feathers in a somewhat tuxedo style pattern.  These formal birds actually spend much of their time underwater eating fish and krill and stuff.   For more information ask Morgan Freeman.

However, if you are wondering about the verb “to penguin,” then you have come to the right place.  Penguining comes from the way in which penguins greet each other.  The act of penguining involves two people.  First the penguiner walks or waddles up beside the penguinee.  Then, the penguiner leans toward the penguinee, bumps shoulders, and exclaims “penguin!”
